WILLIAM "MR.J" JOHNSON



Born on May 9, 1944 in Orangeburg, S.C. to the late Joshua and Lula Johnson. He was educated in the Orangeburg, S.C. Public School System. Mr. J was married to the late Sarah P. Johnson.

He was drafted into the US Army on October 12, 1967, after training was completed, he was sent to serve in the Vietnam War, where he was wounded thereby earning a Purple Heart. William went on to serve in the US Army for 24 years and retired on October 31, 1991. And for the past 11 1/2 years he's worked as a Department of Defense Civilian.

Mr. Johnson is a dedicated father, and grandfather with three beautiful children Pellzitha McCormick of Anchorage, Alaska, William H. Johnson Jr., and Letitia Johnson-Edens of Fayetteville, North Carolina. He also has four grandchildren Tia Lutrell and LuCrestus Dante'McCormick of Anchorage, Alaska, Sarate' and Sai'Von Edens of Fayetteville, NC.

He has been riding for 24 years without any accidents. Mr. J is the President of the Fayetteville, North Carolina Chapter of the Buffalo Soldiers. He "lives to ride and rides to live".
